Established in 1954, Pennington Title Company is a Preferred Agent for both Chicago Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company, two of the largest and strongest underwriting companies in the nation. As one of the first title companies in the country to image and computerize its title plant, our title examiners have the resources at their disposal to produce your title insurance products in a timely and efficient manner. You will find our recently completed award winning building, distinguished by it’s copper roofline, at the corner of Kansas City Street and Mount Rushmore Road/Eight Street. Ample off-street parking is provided for your convenience in our East parking lot.

Gregory N. Wick
President and CEO
Greg Wick has over 28 years of experience in the land title industry and is President and CEO of Pennington Title Company. He served on the South Dakota Land Title Association Board of Directors for six years, is a past SDLTA President, and a current member of it's Legislative Committee. Greg was also a member of the Title Standards Revisions Committee of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Section of the South Dakota State Bar during it's multi-year Title Standards revisions project.
Mr. Wick was originally appointed to the South Dakota Abstracters Board of Examiners, the licensing and regulatory board for the title industry in the State, by Governor Mickelson in 1990. Reappointed by Governors Miller, Janklow and Rounds to consecutive terms, he is the current President of the Board. Greg is an approved instructor of Broker Level Land Title Courses in South Dakota through the South Dakota Real Estate Commission and is a frequent presenter of the Continuing Education topics for the South Dakota Land Title Association.
Jan Kirch

Certified Exchange Specialist
Jan Kirch currently holds the first (and only) Certified Exchange Specialist (CES) Designation in the State of South Dakota through the Federation of Exchange Accommodators. Jan achieved her CES designation in 2004 and has been recognized state wide for her extensive knowledge of IRC Section 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange transactions. She additionally is a Licensed Abstracter with over 20 years of experience in both title examination and escrow closing. As Escrow Officer, Kirch heads Pennington Title's Escrow Closing Department and specializes in commercial real estate transactions.
Tony L. Klock
Operations Manager
Tony Klock has over 6 years experience in the land title industry in his position as Operation Manager of Pennington Title. The company’s “Go To Guy”, his responsibilities include customizing our Information Technology systems to meet our client’s special needs. Klock holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of South Dakota and is a Licensed Abstracter. Tony was recently awarded Rookie of the Year honors by the RC Downtown Lions Club.
